After today's quest, I must say i do have some new found hope in my fellow UNT scholars & their sense of style.  

Double Bag Boy

Across campus grounds, if you've never learned anything else at all, you have at least acquired one golden rule.  College is survival of the fittest!  Come Monday morning approaching that 8' o clock and you're following schedule for the day, you've got to come prepared! How can u assure that status? Carry everything and leave nothing behind! Nothing!  In this case, baggage is not such a bad concept.

These students carry there education on their sleeves and maintain style by doing so!

" Brown & Yellow, Brown & Yellow, Brown & Yellow..."

Yellow must be the unspoken color of 

the season on the streets of denton.  

I found myself glancing at mustard tones left and right;

 I couldn't get away if i wanted to!  

I noticed it also being paired with brown and black neutrals alike.

I admit it was refreshing to see the color as a focal point.

What Inspires Me...

I'm easily touched by an accumulation of randoms. The obvious and most common answer of a fashion design major would be fashion magazines and what's hitting the catwalks. These are true inspirations to me, but in addition, there are countless alternatives that constantly keep me thinking and storming my brain. Lately, tumblr has me slightly obssessed (only slightly) and I stay gazing at the imagery posted on my screen. Fashion illustration is my love and one of my favorite artists is Eri Wakiyama. Her style lines create treasures for my eyes.

The fourties and fifties are eras that i like to visit every once in a while. They are some of my favorite destinations & I imagine myself in another time and space. I love to also look through the past of black culture... especially since there's more of a challenge of finding the visuals. I get a kick out of viewing old hollywood and everyday life alike, with strangers that look like me.
